Kale Chips

I got this recipe from a marathon runner magazine -- can't remember the name, but I snapped an original camera phone pic of the recipe itself
Ta-da!
  • Kale is super good for you - it's rich in vitamins A, B-6, C, & K, iron, beta-carotene, lutein, calcium, and iron
  • Kale is also super cheap... my grocery store sells it for $.99/pound, and a giant bundle of it only cost me $.80
  • Kale chips definitely satisfied my craving for light and crispy and salty -- much healthier than potato chips
Side note: I used zatar instead of salt, and it was splendid! I lined the pan with tinfoil which was a good idea considering the oil involved. Also, keep in mind kale shrinks significantly in size when cooked.
